Finally found time to install it. Over the course of the last two weeks, I cleaned and prepped the unpolished surfaces of the exhaust system. I did multiple coats of VHT flameproof Ceramic/Silicon header coating on all the umpolished surfaces. I like the look. Only time will tell how durable the coating will be. The original exhaust had openings along the pipe just in front of the muffler. Someone had tried (and failed) to plug it up with JB Weld. Exhust ended up shooting straight up at the heat shield. Ever notice a dead animal smell in you car after it has been warmed up for a while? Check your exhaust. Mine was cooking the insulation in the floor of the car. That is a seriously nasty smell. Well, no more stink....

I love the new exhaust note. It's a deep burble at idle. In the lower gears, a nice growl and at highway speeds, barely noticable. I was a little worried at first, not sure of exactly what I would get but I am quite pleased. I didn't want an obnoxious note that droned in the cab while at cruising speeds, nor a ricer-boy tin can sound. This system seems to be a really good compromise on note.

Even though it is not a 3 inch system, only 2.5, I have already noticed a quicker spool up time on the turbo....

The system is a little pricey, but I definitely recommend it.
