I own my current 2005 Saab 9-5 for about 8 months now. Time to figure out what the cost is of owning one of these fine Swedish automobiles. You often hear they can be very expensive to own but that's not really the case if you can do most maintenance and repairs yourself. In 2008, I purchased a 2006 Saab 9-5 in California and drove it back to Michigan. I planned to pass the Bonneville Salt Flats on the way to see what it was all about.
