I have spent the last few days away in Berlin on a Staff Ride, which is basically a military history tour, to famous battlefields, etc. Here in Europe there are lots of these as these people like to go to war every fifty years or so and the US keeps getting involved. These tours are usually for higher ranking people like sergeants major, staff captains, majors, lieutenant colonels. etc. I am a staff sergeant so I don't usually get to go, but this time there were seats open and I volunteered to go. ...
