On Saturday, September 8, 2012, there was a gathering of Saab owners at Scanwest Autosport in Seattle. Scanwest Autosport is a Saab garage that will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2013. Every year in September, Scanwest invites its customers for a Customer Appreciation Barbeque.
Besides the lunch, the parking area in front of the shop is cleared to allow display of some of the attendees' nice Saabs. There are promotional items for guests, including key chains, pens, posters, and some other items.
Well over 30 customers' Saabs were parked in front and on the street in front of the garage, ranging from two stroke Saab 96's to classic 900's to current model 9-3's. Some were highly modified, others were in pristine shape, not much different from when they left the factory. Scanwest customers from all over of the Seattle area, even as far as Vancouver, British Columbia, came to the lunch.

Two 9-3 Sport Combis from the Vancouver area. Out of courtesy, their license plates are redacted but the blue British Columbia plates can still be seen.
Scanwest Autosport is located at 9520 Greenwood Avenue N. in Seattle.
