Some more pictures of the new V40 leaked on the interwebs. These appear to be the official images. I must say that is a fine looking Swedish hatchback.

Ugh, looks like a Volvo wagon that got rear ended... Too stubby. I want a wagon version of the C30!!
I like it. Kinda wish they went with the P1800 and C30 rear hatch (all glass).

It is. As a Ford Focus hatchback
The roofline, A, B- and C-pillars (D-pillar & hindquarters window notwithstanding), front and rear door & window frames, door handles, all look identical.
Looks to me Peter Horbury or others inside Volvo cribbed some Focus design elements during Ford's selling of Volvo to Geely !

And all this GM whining about selling SAAB to the Chinese!
Front end isn't bad. The shoulder kick up over the rear wheels is growing on me. Dislike the hatch crease (Tribeca anyone?).

Still no V50 though...
Even though I do like the V40, it's still another example of a car having too many creases, swoops, and shapes. I'm a bigger fan of a cleaner design.
