900i 16V 91 Convertible has slight hesitation in motorcontinuaty

    Hey folks,
    Belgium here,
My 91 conv (non turbo) has that minuscule hesitation at any RPM...
We didn't check vacuum, nor fuelfilter....
The car sat for years, before we bought it(no history)
Would u check filters as they come from the tank, incl in line filter, etc...??

Fact is that in overall it gets the gasoline, except for these slight hesitations that are NON related to extra speed asked from the car.....
In other words, its a lack of (very subtle)motorpower in all its ranges.Motor never quits or has idle problem.

LAMDA exhaust"sonde",( that feedbacks the exhaust fumes to the ECU) has been exchanged for(lets be honest a reserve from a friend, so not e new one)...
    Airmassmeter possible culpritt?
    Bobine?(what makes the hi voltage)
    Any experiences?
I have to stress again that the problem is so tiny but again disturbing.
    Want to solve it!
I have almost all the parts in duplo, cause of a donorsaab(85) that misses some features...
Sorry for the lack of English correct vocabulary.
    Bob

Fuel filter won't cause this. That only limits max power. My first guess would be plugs. What age are they and are they the correct type? If in doubt fit new ones. NGK only.

Do you have a check engine light? If not it won't be the lamda or the AMM. The bobine (HT coil) is the last thing I would suspect.

PS Nothing wrong with your English Bob.
