Question where to get this ?

    Hi

does anyone know where I can get the part on the top left of this picture :

Dizzy Repair kit from thesaabsite picture

And does anyone know where I can get the hall sensor conector ( the square one ) ? ( I know that I can get the one from a volvo for $3 but that is the round one and I will need to source the male connector, that is an option too).

    Thanks,

Looks like some sort of shield...

Hey, apparently Rock Auto has the whole distributor repair kit: http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/x,carc...on_Pickup.html

The Rockauto parts do indeed look correct. They have several options so compare the pictures, especially the plug to ensure they are the same. As far as I am aware all the internals, eg sensor etc, are the same, but the plug varies. I think you would probably call it a "distributor hall sensor repair kit", if you want to put a name to it. It would probably help the supplier if you had the part number of your Bosch distributor to hand. This is stamped on the outside of the body.

This link may be of interest to you. Although it may not be identical to yours, it will give you some insight. http://www.900saab.com/dizzy.html
I suggest you contact Steve Lewis in the UK (very helpful) and ask him what he will charge to ship. I have given you the link before, but here it is again. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sa...00+hall+effect

Why not buy a whole used dizzy from eBay. There seem to be quite a few in the US at reasonable prices.
