Thread: Tire size for 9000 cse turbo 2.3

Hi

I have 1997 saab 9000 cse turbo 2.3 and I need to get new tires. The sticker is missing from the door. The last tires put on may be the incorrect size. The model I have is not listed on tirerack.com. I was told at one point I need to get performance tires. I would like to get mid level pricewise snow tires asap. Help would be appreciated!

CSE... that has the 15 inch wheels right? If so, then the stock size was 195/65VR15. If you've got 16" wheels, then the stock size is 205/55ZR16.

Tirerack is showing Blizzaks for $91 each for the 15 inch wheels, which is a pretty good price. They are also showing Firestone Winterforce for $73 each. I'd recommend either. My brother has the Winterforces' on his Passat, and they are great--especially in deep snow.
