OK - I know that our beloved Saabs sometimes suffer from erratic electrical problems, but my car seems to be suffering from multiple failures all at the same time...
1. It started about 1.5 months ago with the driver's side window switch. When illuminated at night, the front windows (on the switch) were dark, the rear windows were lit. The window up/down switches worked OK - no problems other than the light.
2. The problem then started to get worse - my side mirror control switch stopped working - at least properly. The driver's mirror won't move at all with the switch - the passenger mirror will move, but not the way you direct it to... up goes down, down goes out... that's it. Nothing else... The memory switch on the seat will move the passenger side mirror to the correct position, but it moves the driver's mirror all the way up (pointing at the sky).
3. Yesterday, the driver's window started going wonky - it goes down... 5cm at a time. You have to continually push the down button to get the window all the way down. You then have to continually push the button up to get the window up... it takes about 5 or 6 button pushes to get it down or up all the way.
4. Last, but not least, my right front position light has failed - my local car repair has no record of what that light bulb is... anyone know? How do you get at it?
Any hints on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
