    My 07 93 SportCombi Aero

Never mind the ugly winter wheels.

    Thanks guys!

Yeah, the wheels are 16s with Goodyear Eagle Ultra grip winter mounted.

If the weather holds I'll have the 17's back on next weekend.

I couldn't beat the deal on the winters. Wheels and tires for $1000!

Yeah, I know. But the laptop I have is one of my brothers old ones and it's got some missing/corrupted files and I can't seem to find the program to downsize them.

If you select the pictures, right-click and choose send to email recipient, you should get a question about resizing, and then you can save the files from the email. At least it's like that in Windows XP.

Cheers for that colombo, I'll give it a try!

Edit: No such luck, too many missing files on this laptop.

If anyone could resize these I'd appreciate it.

Pretty car, sometimes I wish I would have gotten the SC instead of the SS.

Does Cincinnati get enough snow to warrant snow tires/wheels? I sold mine when I moved from NY to St. Louis and I think that might have been a mistake, we had a pretty rough winter.

They are actually winter tires, meaning suitable for low temperatures and ice as well and not just for snow. The rubber is softer so they have better traction (read shorter braking distance) and better handling on dry roads with low temperatures as well.

Nice car! Not so sure about that sticker on the rear window....

If you can, download and install PAINT.net or TheGIMP

Both are good programs for editing pictures without paying for fancy things like Photoshop

I know there is a difference in the rubber compound in summer/all-season/winter tires for different temperature ranges. I've also used snow tires and winter tires synonymously, is there a difference?

Edit: Tire rack has them listed as winter/snow tires.....

Thanks, I'm one of those geeks that thinks wagons are cool. I've got two kids and we're getting a dog in May so a wagon is a necessity. In retrospect the 95 combi would have been better, but I didn't like its proportions.

Cincinnati gets enough snow most winters, but because we are a city built on hills any snowfall can be enough to warrant snow tires. This winter was especially cold and we had a couple of good snowfalls.

Wulf don't be dissing my TSL sticker.

I test drove an SC Aero and 9-5 Combi Aero before I bought mine, and I found that the 9-5 just felt huge. I had it narrowed down to an '06 SS and SC both Aeros, both manual transmissions, both CPO's, similar miles. It came down to the dealership. The dealership that had the SC didn't seem to want or care about my business (it was Saab of Milford in CT). New Salem Saab in Albany, NY is where I bought mine from.

I did European delivery so I never got a chance to drive my car before I picked it up. The closest Saab dealer to me was 60 miles away in Vejile, Denmark and they didn't have any V6 Saabs. I did my test my drive in an 06 1.8T with a Hirsch tune.

I had 16in all seasons on my 94 SVX, half an inch of snow and they were useless.

I bought a set of 17in BF Goodrich g-Force Sports(high performance summer only) last summer that I hope to swap out next weekend, if the weather cooperates.
