Picture thread - Show your Saab

On a Saab forum, it seems appropriate to share a few pictures of your current and/or previous Saabs.

I'll start with my current '05 9-5 Aero wagon/estate. I bought it used from a dealer in Virginia about 6 months ago and it has about 70K miles on it. I searched quite a while for a 2005 wagon in great shape and reasonable miles and this one was a great find. I found some Saab double-wing wheels for summer and I think they look quite nice. The two-tone Sport Tech package doesn't seem to be very common and I like the tan/black combination.

This is my 2000 9-5 Aero. I purchased this car in Oakville Ontario after an exhaustive search of eastern Canada for a manual aero with low km's. The 1800 km drive back was great fun and I arrived home the day before Hurricane Juan struck, the SAAB was safely hidden in the garage. It is in imola red with the tan interior and ventilated seats. Some upgrades are the Ronal LZ wheels which I found in Pennsylvania, nordic stage 3 ecu and Simons/GS stainless exhaust. I have also painted the trim to match the body colour and installed projector fogs, a rear decor panel and clear corner lights. Its time for new struts and shocks so some Koni FSD's are on the way.

I've got two here…

A 1988 900 Aero (The Silver Sled) running a Group 9 Stage 2.5 APC with a TE05 16G turbo, and a heap of other goodies. I've owned this since 1996.






Also have a 2002 9-3 Aero Stage 4 Nordic Custom tuned sled. Owned this since 2006… purchased/picked up to exactly the day (Dec 6) exactly 10 years after I bought my 1988 900 Aero! Spooky!
