    Christmas tree dash lights.

Notice last week that dash lights came on and off for like a second. Yesterday all dash lights came on and stayed on. I also notice the speedometer was not working. Today on way to work dash lights still on but speedometer is working , it seems to be moving slow . Any ideas guys. Is it the dreaded abs module , speed sensor, bad battery or something else. My car is like a Christmas tree now. Guess a call to bba- raman is in order.

The same thing occasionally happens with my 9-5 and I have been curious about this as well. When I turn off the engine and restart, everything is normal again so it hasn't really been a high priority to look into this more.

ABS Module=BBA and I think that is the the likely cause.

Sounds like the ABS control module on the the ABS system. I have the same symptoms and it is a realtively common failure. The good news it is easy to remove and send the BBA-REMAN . You also can drive the car in the meantime....no speedo or ABS
