Thinking of a wheel change - what you got on yours?

Would love to see different wheels on a 9-5 - both Saab and non-saab alloys.
    Post your pics please.

I had the Saab Double-Wing 17" wheels on my previous 9-5. I really liked them and now wish I wouldn't have sold them..

    Frank - Love those wheels!

I've got the stock 5-spoke Aero wheels on mine and I think they look really nice. I'll post a few pics when I'm near a computer (can't put up pics in the mobile site), but I think they're on my profile. I've thought about getting new ones, but I'd probably go for more Saab wheels as opposed to aftermarket. I like the newer 9-3 Aero wheels a lot.

But then, I probably wouldn't do it, anyway

I've gone through a couple different styles of factory wheels but have finally settled on the 18" Double Blades (picture 3). I started out with the 5-spoke EVO wheels that came on all the '04/'05 Aeros, then tried out some BBS Rk1s from a 2000 9-5 Aero.

I like the stock wheels on my '00 9-5 Aero Combi

For winter I have these SAAB BBS wheels, haven't put them on the car yet so no pictures of them mounted.

These wheels were standard on most model years 2006+ in the US. I think they looked good on my 2006. Not sure what they are called but they are 17".

The new owner is not active here but I heard a few months ago the car is still going strong.

I liked my Silver 05 Aero a bit better, just because I prefer lighter colors. Here she's wearing the standard Aero 5-spokes, right before I sold it to Scott. The 5-spokes are still one of my favorite wheels for the 9-5.

Do like the double blades above but sticking with 17'' as my tyres are brand new. Mine has the standard wheels below.
Anyone fitted wheels from another car manufacturer or in a gunmetal grey?

I do like the three-spoke wheels, too. Considering tracking down a set of the 16's to use as snow tires.

I've always liked these wheels and the 6-spoke variant that was available in the accessory catalog. I saw lots of cars in Sweden with them. What trim level is you car? Vector?

It's a Vector that I bought recently - been a Merc owner for 20 years but got offered this from a work collegue for £1780 and thought why not. Not my first choice of colour which is why I probably want to change the wheels lol.

You have a lot of good options out there for wheels, that's for sure. I keep changing mine up because I can't settle. Haha.

    2003 Stock 10 Spoke Wheels

Stock 10 Spoke 17" Wheels on my 2003 Aero. I like these wheels, or perhaps I've just gotten used to them.
Just did a complete brake overhaul, new rotors, calipers and Akebono pads. Painted my Gold (zinc) plated
calipers silver with the G2 paint system and used the Saab WIS service sheets that Frank uploaded to Saabworld,
(Thanks Frank). Seeing bright silver calipers, silver painted rotor hubs and new rotors in general makes
a huge improvement. I've got plenty of curb rash from the PO and corrosion is bubbling thru with one
wheel, so I'd like to replace these wheels with the same style, restored.

I'd definitely like to see those silver calipers. Can you put up another pic with more detail?

My Brake overhaul made a huge difference with how my stock wheels looked. My '03 has the big brake
kit, stock. 308mm front rotors and 300mm rear rotors. The new rotor below is actually an AC Delco
rotor I found on Amazon and believe it or not, when I opened the box I found, Zimmerman, "Z" coat
rotors inside, Made in Germany, ("Z" for Zinc coated). I went with Centric premium (rebuilt) calipers which were Zinc coated,
but the zinc coating had this awful, Gold color, so I used the G2 paint system to coat them prior to
installation, ( I used coat hangers to hang the various brake parts for painting ). I figured at some
point in the near future, my old calipers were going to leak, so why not head it off at the pass by
replacing them. The rears look just as nice, but they are, "Pilenga" rotors, made in Italy and don't have
the nice Zinc coating, so they are pre-disposed to rusting in certain areas. The G2 paint system is a two
part Epoxy paint that dries rock hard when applied, it's pretty amazing. The pads are Akebono, ceramic,
which was a no brainer, they're the pad with the lowest dust. I'll have to get a close up of the wheel
    with my brake overhaul.

16" Sport Edition CE wheels with winter tires. Even though they are inexpensive wheels, I really like the look of them.
