On page 42, there is an interesting blurb:
Turbo and cabriolet models very popular but estate (left) was never imported into the UK
Next to the blurb there is a picture of a very handsome looking classic 900 wagon! But we all know it's never been produced. I guess they had no way to fact-check their article, in the Dark Ages before Google, but what a blunder for a car magazine to make! I wonder which welded-together 900 wagon that was. Maybe the one that is now red and lives in the Netherlands somewhere?

Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

It certainly looks like it has yellow Dutch license plates. Around that time, all had a number/letter format of XX-XX-XX.

This thread shows a picture of a 900 wagon conversion made in the Netherlands: Saabforum.nl • Toon onderwerp - 900 Safari

Clearly not written by someone who knows much about 900s. He doesn't seem aware that there were two totally different fuel injection systems used -- mechanical and electronic. But obviously a fan so that's the main thing.

Cheap to run? Compared to what? The international space station?
