1987 SAAB 900i, Belgian Market
This car was originally bought by a Belgian Soldier under the SAAB Military ad Diplomat Car Sales Program. The car has been registered in Belgium, Germany, France and now with the US Forces in Germany. Talk about moving around!
The former owner had the car for ten years and used it as his daily driver. In the ten years he owned the car he repaired all rust on the body, maintained the engine in very good running condition, installed a red velour interior in excellent shape and just maintained the car as well as he could.
The car runs every day, but has a temperamental transmission. There are days when it shifts as if it were brand new, all gears go in smoothly and with no problems. On other days first and reverse gears are hard to engage. This being a C900 and the transmission being this car's Achilles heels I don't complain much, as long as the transmission works I am happy. The engine is flawless. |
