| Description |
| This car has several features that was standard in U.S. cars but options in some other markets. This car was delivered with few options, just metallic paint, not even automatic transmission. The car was paid for at a U.S. dealer in Seattle but delivered in Sweden by the dealer, ANA Trollhättan. One can then have the car shipped to any Saab dealer in the U.S. I chose to have it delivered to another dealer in Florida. June 2012 update: I've just got my "fifth" Saab. It's a model of my current Saab. Even the interior is the same color. Differences include the lower side skirts are silver, not black and the wheels are slightly different from my summer wheels. I don't normally collect model cars but with this one, I'll always have either a Saab or a "Saab". EDIT: I just calculated my fuel consumption from 2005-2012. I always fill the tank when buying gas. 2005-2012: 26.38 mpg (8.92 l/100 km) worse: 4th tank (car was still new), 19.9 mpg (11.83 l/100 km) best: 35.8 mpg (6.57 l/100 km) fuel used: Chevron (most of the time) Shell (36 tanks as of December 15, 2012) 76/Conoco/Phillips 66 (10 tanks) octane (US) recommended: 90 octane (US) required: 87 octane (US) locally available: 87, 89, 92 (93 in some parts of the country) lowest estimated octane in tank: 88.6 highest octane in the tank: 93 usual octane in the tank 90.0-91.5 (winter target: 90-90.5, summer target 90.5-92) |
