I have a few questions before I start the following project.
I have purchased the Metra 70-1784 connector.

I have also purchased the following Bluetooth receiver (Amazon.com: Britelink Bluetooth Audio Receiver: Portable, Bluetooth Music Receiver with Stereo Output (3.5 mm) for Home and Auto Stereo Systems: Electronics).

Also this thing I may need for my installed due to balanced and unbalanced sound:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i01_details

Remote On control for amplifier: 7 Is this the wire I should use to turn on the amplifier?

If I connect the line level outputs from all of the speakers to the wiring harness and then to the bluetooth receiver. Will sound come out of all of the speakers without a problem?

I need help with wiring to remote turn on the Amp.....

    Thank you in advance,

I never had any warning lights when my thermostat had to be replaced. The temperature gauge just dropped to the bottom at times.

US distributor of Lawicel CANUSB

by Jacob Ilkka on 05 January 2012 at 05:58
So... I have finally happened upon a distributor of Lawicel's CANUSB CAN to USB adapter. ImageCraft Embedded Systems has them currently for $139.00! Expensive, but it's around the same price as everywhere else, at least you don't have to pay international shipping.
This is a must if you are going to be tuning your ECU with T5/T7/T8suite, or are just wanting to view, in real-time, the stats rolling out of it alot faster than OBD-II. I also found this article pretty fascinating and am going

wifi in car and pc update

by Jacob Ilkka on 26 March 2011 at 18:47
I'm probably doing the weirdest thing you have ever heard of to a Saab. Right now I am printing out the instructions to remove the Shark fin antenna on top of my car, so I can put a WiFi antenna up inside of it. No I will not be wardriving, I will most likely be parking outside of my friend's house and using his WiFi though, it is secured and he gave me the code so it's perfectly legal . Also, after much downtime due to power inverter destruction, this Friday I will be installing my new M2ATX

Saabs find each other

by Jacob Ilkka on 20 February 2011 at 17:06
I can't remember where I read it. It was either here or at SC, about Saabs finding and parking next to each other (because you know, its the car with the brain, not the driver). Well, I had parked my car at a hotel yesterday, and when I came back to get it, there was a newer Saab backed up next to mine. They seem to do that, I pull mine in nose first, the other backs in...
Anyway, I thought the pic was classic, despite the terrible grain and blown out highlights. Click to enlarge.
