SaabWorld site tips and tricks
This thread provides information on how to get the most of the SaabWorld forum software and expose some things that may not be immediately obvious.
Make sure to check out the FAQ (http://saabworld.net/faq.php) as well. It has some good information for novice and experienced users, especially when coming from the other big Saab forums which are running much older versions of the vBulletin software.

Auto-saved content in posts
Have you ever typed a long post on any forum and your browser or computer crashed, lost your internet connection, accidentally hit the wrong key on your keyboard / moved away from the page and lost that post you worked on for a while?
Nothing is lost on SaabWorld. When you type in a post in an existing or new thread, you'll see Auto-Saved occasionally flashing in the lower-right corner. It will save your post every minute, even when you haven't submitted the post yet. If you loose the page or post for any reason, you can go back to that thread and you'll see Restore Auto-Saved Content in the lower left corner. Click on it and your previous 'lost' post will appear again with the content from the last Auto-Save.
The same thing for when you composed a post for a new thread (like a long tutorial). Go back to the forum you were creating the new thread, click on Post New Thread and you will also see Restore Auto-Saved Content.
