What type of engine is this? 8-valve or 16-valve? And what type of injection? K-Jetronic, Lucas CU14, or Bosch LH 2.2?
8valve and Bosch C1
I am wondering about this as it is delivering a good spark but wetting the plugs. I tried hotter plugs which were not as wet, but it did not start
Allright, I changed the name of the thread so maybe we'll attract one of our K-Jetronic (AKA Bosch CI) to answer the question.
I looked through the Saab manual and all I found was a picture showing a clearance for the bottom plate, picture is attached below.
You can see the entire manual here if it might help: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3g0...it?usp=sharing (edit: Starting on page 240 to see instructions on mounting and adjusting the air flow sensor. Page 240-15 has instructions on setting the CO idle screw on the MAF. Page 240-31 has specific instructions on putting the MAF back together after disassembly)
Here is the Bosch K-Jet book too: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3g0...it?usp=sharing

Good luck!
Thanks a million for all the info. If I cant get it correct after that, there is something wrong!

Hi, could you upload the links again. I am trying to set the idle speed on my 900 88 Bosch k-jetronic and all I have is the server manual for Bosch LH jetronic .
Thanks
Good luck!
darwinland, do you mean the manual links in rpiereck post? Just click the links and you should be able to see the manuals. Or try to right-click on the link and save the manuals on your computer.
