Hi.
I can't seem to order parts online, for lack of nomenclature.
Some sites ask whether my car is a 42252 or a 42250 (as if it must be one or the other.)
I have scoured my owners manual and can't find either designation.
Which, if either, of these do I have, please?
Also: engine designation.
The Wikipedia chart above calls my engine an L81. But further up the page my engine is called a B308e. I haven't seen either engine designation listed at online parts stores where I have tried to order brake parts.
Can someone point me to an online resource for definitive information on these matters. Or simply tell where I stand?
Also, if there is an online parts vendor which indexes parts in terms of simole, layman's terms (e.g. year, model, engine description (4 vs 6; turbo or not; gas or diesel) I'd be very pleased to go spend money there rather than having to deal with figuring out whether I have a 42250e235x, or what-have you.
Thank you kindly for helping to get me started on bringing this fine old car back to tip top condition.

I get many of my parts from Eeuroparts: http://www.eeuroparts.com/Cars/SAAB/...4-Valve-Turbo/
Hope that helps!
