Linear with Aero features?

I bought my 2002 linear wagon a year ago and the combination of features it has is puzzling. I asked the seller, but he had no clue. I've looked at the manual, the "9-5 changes through the years" sticky, Googled it every way I can think of, and no luck.

The title and door sills say Linear. The badge says 2.3t but it has a TD04 and sure feels like 250 HP. It has the Linear's "Premium package": auto-dim center mirror, memory driver's seat and side mirrors, heated rear seats, premium stereo, and ESP. It has the aluminum dash of an Aero, but not the front seats, bi-xenon headlights, tailpipe, steering wheel, or 17" wheels. It handles like a Linear. Last clue: grey w/orange pinstripes !?

Previous owners didn't seem like mod/performance type. Could this be some odd special edition?

It sounds like a Linear with an upgraded turbo and replaced dash. The GT17 turbo probably went bad in the last 15 years and was replaced with a TD04. And the dash panel replacement is pretty easy to do.
