Dash says right rear low, pressure is correct. Shop says unit in wheel is working. If it is the control module (a 100.00 part) wouldn’t I be getting a system failure rather than just 1 tire low?

Could be bad control module, but I would bet on bad sensor before a bad module and before I bet on anything I would slap on the Tech 2. Before spending a penny go old school and pull the battery cable to reset the module and see if you fix or change the problem.
Did the battery.
i would think if it were the module I would get more than 1 tire low.
That is the common sense thought and common sense is usually best. Though the odds are against the module being bad are slim, it could have had its program corrupted and forgotten the ID of the sensor. More than likely its the sensor, especially if a tire store and not your favorite Saab service center only checked for strength of signal. Either way you will need to get reprogram to get rid of the message.
Tire sensors are only warrantied to work for so many miles or so many years and its usually the sensor that isn't sending good code. Tire sensors are also a high profit, non competitively priced item that is a PIA to DIY.
Fixed. Bad sender unit
