Nice...that's pretty impressive on winter blend gas!
Very impressive! But these cars DO drive themselves, don't they?!
I've just done my first (relatively) long drive in mine - 300 miles, and it's performed brilliantly! I've had the car about 2 weeks, it's my first ever Saab, and I'm just so pleased with it :-)
Oops, spoke too soon. Got a Cel And the gear light in the parking lot and it's not moving.
oh, no! Not in Nebraska. middle of nowhere Nebraska even.
plugged in the reader, got code 0705. A bit of relief there, but looks like I am headed for a NSS soon.
turned it off and on and cleared the codes and seems ok now.
Impressive fuel mileage, I think I got about the same on that same stretch of road through Iowa and Nebraska a few months ago. She's a good old car.
10 hours back today. No issues. 700 miles. Not particularly tired, just a bit bored.
yep, my 2003 Linear can get just over 33mpg with a lot of highway travel! It still amazes me how smooth these cars are at highway speed and the distance you can get out of them.
Okay, I wasn't going to mention it, cuz I'm never sure what to expect with my new (-to-me) Arc, but I just logged Hurley, WI to Green Bay, WI (450 mi rnd trip) and averaged 32.5 per my SID.
I get near 22 in city driving, usually.
She's due for an oil change this month. With that type of performance, I think she'll be getting the good stuff.
My only issue? These 50 y.o. hips. I'm thinking about buying a cushion/pillow for the seat. I'm an ex-truck driver, so I'm used to sitting for hours at a time. Maybe I need to put an air suspension in the seats. :surprised:
And, I suppose, the day itself. It was clear enough to make the drive fun, but the temps and wind made icy spots and slippy-sliding a real concern. Ran head-on into wind on the way back and swore up and down that the engine was staggering 'till I felt it standing still at my next fuel stop. These puppies get pushed around some, hey?
