I know this thread was posted a while back, but hopefully someone can help me out.
I did a headlight swap on my 04 Saab 95 with Halogens to xenon headlights. When i turn them on, they are incredibly low (pointing down at the road in front of me). I tried to adjust the screw to make them go up but it only goes up a little and at a certain point begins to click as i keep screwing.
So that leaves me with two questions:
1. Is there any way to make my headlights aim higher?
2. Does the clicking noise mean that it is as high as it will go or does that mean its stuck?

Xenon headlamps use load angle sensors and I think they are required by law in the USA. This is because Xenon lights are quite a bit brighter than halogen so easier to blind oncoming traffic with Xenon lights.
If you just replace the headlamps without adding these sensors, the headlight thinks there is a malfunction and will automatically aim down as far as they can go.
