Manifold Vacuum Hose
When I was working on my Saab the other day I accidentally broke this hose and am not exactly sure what it is for or what the piece that it connects to is called so that I can look up the part to replace it. Any ideas? I have tried looking it up and haven't found exactly what it is.
This is the part I need to replace: Attachment 17445
and this is the hose that connects to it:Attachment 17446

I broke a similar hose on my turbo. It went to the oil trap. The red retainer is a bear to get out. It is compressed with an o-rind and the bottom of it bites into the plastic tube. I found a replacement on esaaparts.com (https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...UQMygAegQIARB7).

Not familiar with the v6 but on my 4 cylinder, the only hard plastic line with check valves like that also went to the brake booster. Its a vacuum line and you should replace it right away. Just not sure if it can be soft/flexible or if it needs tobe the hard plastic line.

If its just the connector, those are simple enough to replace. Ive found a few on old Saabs in the junk yards because the coat of new is high.

It could be to the brake booster. Where does does the other end connect? Does tee with another hose or does it connect to a valve or other body?
