My dad put two propane heaters in his garage/workshop. They've kept it at a constant 65F during the coldest winters since he's had them.
It's a big shop, maybe 50x70(?) with a 16ft ceiling and it's all insulated.
I haven't worked on my 9-3 except to check fluids and change/clean the K&N air filter, but when I did work on my cars I had an old comforter that I'd spread over what ever painted surface that my clothes would come in contact with. If you wear Levi's you need to watch out for the button and the rivets.

I just made my first trip to Harbor Freight Tools.
It's a toy store for gearhheads!
Picked up a 2 ton aluminum rapid pump floor jack($119!) and some wheel chocks.
I'm going back.

HF is great. Can't really go wrong for their prices and life-time warranty. Might not be the best quality, but for a lot of tools and things, you can't really go wrong

I bought a tire changer from them a while ago. Not something that I would use every day but fine for the occasional use once a year.
-
The few tools like wrenches and drivers I bought for my kid failed in the first days use.
Junk, pure shit! I would never trust a jack stand or ramps on any product.
-
The jack stands I've been using for the past two years are from HF, and the low-profile jack I've been using for the past year or so is from there too. I've also got a come-along that's pulled a couple cars, car dollys that work "ok", and a bunch of other stuff.
Things like their punches don't last long though.

Put my summer tires on yesterday. on the shakedown run something didn't sound right or feel right in the drivetrain. Took a good look at the front tires and they're cupped on the inner shoulder. I'm going to do a front - back swap and see if that helps.
I knew I should have picked up jack stands when I got the jack!
The problem is finding jack stands that fit under the car.

So I've got some silk-screening stuff I just bought. I need some ideas for shirts, and simple to start with (monochrome). I figure if I get good enough, I could sell them to bring in money.
Any ideas?

So I'm watching the news last night and they were talking about a high speed chase that started in Indiana and ended on the west side of Cincinnati yesterday morning.
They gave the guys name and it was sort of familiar. A post on Facebook by the guys step sister confirmed my suspicions. It was the son of a guy I used to party with back in Indiana.
It's sad, he was such a cute, sweet little boy when I knew him 22+ years ago.
His mugshot from Ohio, he's facing charges in Indiana as well.

Saw this online and got a chuckle... now I'm thinking about joining! Don't use the straight razor much anymore. I get a good shave, but I'm not into how long it takes.
