Looks like another Aero into the Family

    Hey all,

Looks like we may expand the Aero total in the family, going to look at a 2002 9-5 Aero estate at the weekend, if everything is kosher and looks ok, then we’ll be coming back with it.

    Indicators.

Maybe a bit of a daft question.

Do the ‘98-‘01 indicator fit the ‘02/‘03-‘10. For the front indicators?

It’s been an interesting few months since last visit. Spent well over a £1,000 later on the 9-5. It past it’s MOT with only advisories, 2 brake pipes corroded and slight play in rear rose bushes.

    Huey,

The head gasket thought had crossed my mind, as the coolant was a dusky pink colour with a slight offish odour. That could be just down to age though.

    Forgot to add that it’s a 2002....
  10. Juddering, oil pressure light, poor performance. Advise please.

Managed to find the leak. It came from the union where the power steering pipes go from the rack to the bottom of the steering column. The T30 bolt had somehow come loose and the bolt had sheered.

    Hi all,
