The thing is most of the time I drive alone. So I see why the 9-3 would have an edge. The 9-5 seems (correct my ignorance, if I'm wrong) more like a Family sedan.

I'm the same height as you and space is something I never really thought of. If there is a considerably size difference then I think a 9-5 would do it. Most of my family and friends are 5'8 -6'0...
