Can I hollow out the cat and put them back on to see if this is the problem before I spend a lot of money?

Also I bought cheep gas in ohio that was. 322 a gallon. Is it possable bad gas could trip this code. My gas milage increased a lot today I drove it some and it went down to 28mpg seven miles less...

I just read the top of your post. So it is the one were the sencers screw in and is between the firewall and engine bolted by turbo at the top of the diagram that big section of pipe that goes down...

The code says the same as what you stated. Onn your diagram is the cat on the top were the oxegen sencers are or at rhe end were the exhaust hangers are at the end of the pipe were it straightens...

Is it the cat the turbo is on or a different one? The one the turbo is on has the oxygen sencers so I need a cat? My exhaust don't have any leaks. I appreciate all the help!!!!!

P0420 is the code. Says cat, oxengen sencers or engine oil leak. It uses no oil and had power it just sudenly lost some and my gas mileage went from 25.2 to 35.2 miles per gallon.

My 07 saab 9-3t threw a P4020 code today and am hoping someone on here has experienced this code?

My 2007 9-3t I tool off air intake butterfly to clean and intake has oil laying inside it. Do you know why and how I can fix it. Car runs good.
