Had a look at the relays a minute ago with my dad and he took out the ignition switch relay to check it, and tried to start the car (for fun I assume) and she started up with no problem. And he said...

Had a quick look under the hood for myself and couldn't find the CPS, but it sure does have a distributor.

To be honest, I have very little car knowledge but according to my dad it doesn’t have a CPS because it has a distributor(?)
But there is another sensor that we’re going to try to switch out....

After hours spent changing the ignition switch, still no difference.. Checked all contacts and no loose wires.
Is there any hope left for my dear olÂ’ Saab?

Think you might be right about the ignition switch. Do you have any idea of where I can get a new one that doesn't cost a fortune?

My 9-3 2000 petrol won't start.
Fuel pump is ok, she's got a new battery and new coil.
Worked perfectly for a day after changing the battery, same with the coil. But is back to just cranking...
