I know Geniune Saab has products for the OG9-3 but haven't found anything to help reduce the torque steer on an 08, any suggestions?

I also suspect axles, try to find a set of used oem with low miles.

The temperature comes into play to get the fluid level correct.
If you drain and replace the exact quantity of fluid, you should be fine assuming the level was correct to begin with.

The most likely leak point is the oil pressure sender, it's right behind the starter and is known to leak.

Now that you drained most of the oil from the exhaust, the smoke should go away fairly soon, been there.

Keep in mind that the oil has to reach operating temp before it will flow into the oil cooler, it's controlled by a temp sensor on the oil filter housing.

Your exhaust still has oil in it, it will take some time to burn off.
I would drain the excess oil, you could ruin the engine.

Fluid!
I can guarantee the dealer used the wrong fluid at your last service, if you haven't done it already, have the dealer drain and refill with the proper Saab spec fluid, NOT GM Recommended that...

The 4 speed uses Dexron III, no synthetics in this transmission either.

This is correct, and no matter what any auto parts store computer says will work, only use the 3309 or T-IV fluid in that transmission.

I did all that, water shield is in place in the door, when I pour water in the sunroof drains it comes out the bottom.
