    Tweek's Turbos.

I can show him around VA and Washington DC, maybe sneak him onto a part of the Shuttle Discovery, and then out to some sites in DC.

    Moosey in the Keweenaw

The next morning, we were driving along the Lake Superior shoreline and stopped at one of the waterfalls. Nothing spectacular but still nice.

And we finally made it to Copper Harbor, the northernmost town in Michigan in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

This is the start of US-41 and you'll end up in Miami if you follow this all the way south. One trip I still would like to make soem day. All local roads and no highways.

Moosey reading up on some history of Fort Wilkins State Park

We went for a short hike along the shores of Lake Superior

Moosey was being a bit lazy today and didn't feel much like walking himself. He was enjoying the hike though.

Brockway Mountain Drive is a must-see when you're in this area and provides stunning views of the Keweenaw and Lake Superior. It was a bit chilly and rainy during the weekend so it was pretty quiet everywhere. Just how I like it.

It can be a bit windy at the top and Moosey had to hold on the roof rails.

We drove south again to find a place to stay for the night. We drove passed the small White House motel in Mohawk and Moosey hinted we should stay there because he had a good feeling about it. As I never stayed here before and it looked quite old, I wasn't so sure about.

And as luck would have it, they had themed rooms and guess what.. we had the Moose and Deer room! Moosey was quite excited about that.

Trying on a real set of antlers for size.

    Another friend

He felt quite at home at the Moose Lodge

Not sure if he wanted to give a kiss goodnight or make out with his new friend.

We had done and seen quite a lot that day and the little fella fell asleep right away. Sweet dreams at the Moose Lodge.

I kind of forgot about this.. It's been a while since this was started. Anyone still up for hosting Moosey and show him around? If so, please PM your mailing address and he'll be on his way to explore the world!

I'll take him after his tour of PA for a visit to the Cincinnati/Northern KY area.

I've got some ideas. Late August, early September would be a good time frame.

Thanks for the response. I was starting to doubt if playing around with stuffed animal was a bit silly. Please PM your address and he'll be on his way to explore PA.

I had to find a shipping container but he'll be on his way to PA tomorrow. I included a few spare SW stickers in case anyone need one.
