I tried all of these steps especially STEP 3. I got no response. Any help. Please. Thank you. (I only have one key left. Is this an issue)?
1. Insert the new battery under the two contacts and then press down to secure the battery under the retaining heel.
2. Fit the cover.
Important
Make sure the lid is fitted correctly and is properly sealed to comply with waterproof requirements.
3. Press the remote's unlocking button at least 4 times to synchronize the remote with TWICE.
Note: The car must be within range when this is done.
4. After synchronizing, the direction indicators should flash when the remote is operated.

The car starts and operates. Just the remote does not lock or unlock the car. I messed with it and pushed the remote buttons a few times after starting it. Then remove the key and it sometimes works. Butthen after a day or a few hours it stops. The does start and work fine. Only problem is the the remote function.

Be carefull with battery choice
Note that the CR1620 battery is the same size. Some vendors will sell this as a substitution for the CR1632. Don't take it. The CR1632 has twice the current capacity. The remote will work from a greater distance with the correct battery. I found that with the CR1620, I had to be with 1 meter of the driver's side door.
