Speaking of silicone...I'm expecting my silicone vacuum hoses today...some of mine are weak or broken so it'll be good to throw them in. Might be difficult to put on wearing oven mitts, though!
My silicone hoses came to me via Jeff, who was gonna install them in his 9000 Aero.

Jeff - did your source your silicone hoses locally? I phoned a few places - no luck. Through advice from SC or maybe it was SL I ended up ordering from Verocious Motor Sports online.

...guess I'm hijacking my own thread!

I held the camera with one hand stretching out my arm as far as possible. It took many tries to get one decent picture.

I've tried it... many of them come out with a weird looking face, or aimed wrong.

I've started a blog here about my quest to have a new garage built for my Saab. With all the planning commission approvals and other things needed, my architect expects that it will be ready for use possibly in early 2012, late 2011 at the earliest. The unattainable goal is for it to be the perfect garage. The only thing ruled out so far is marbled walls and an automatic car wash. A foregone conclusion is that the garage will cost more than the resale value of the car.
    Mmmmmmmm, marble....

I got them from the now defunct Saab Savior. Intention was to install them on my Aero before the HG blew. Then the car sat on the sidelines for 4 years during my Bavarian fixation, and is now back!
