Hi All,
Thanks to Saabken and SCWC for the heads up re: this forum. Glad to join. Do I get a free oven mit for being among the first to join!?

I guess my hopes in joining would be to keep learning about Saabs (c900s in particular) and establish relationships / community with other Saabophiles. For me it's technical and social. Hoping not to bump into or create any cliques but to befriend folks with similar interests worldwide.

I have two 1990 SPGs: one Tally red and one black.

Mods, if there is already another thread for new members, please move this there. I didn't see one and thought it made sense to start one now. People don't need to say why they've joined (though of course they are welcome to), just drop by and introduce themselves!

Welcome to SW, Greg. Gosh I'm not sure if we even met (in person) locally ! But if not, you probably know the monthly meet schedule from SCWC Calendar link (I won't likely be present at this month's).

You can have my set of silicone oven mitts ...... only gone through < 100 reaches for baking pans/sheets.

Did you see that there is a choice of two calendars .. "Events" and "Birthdays". Ken and I have both indicated our birthdays in our profiles so they are there ... But canny Ken is coy, he didn't mention his year of birth

We set it up like that because, when SaabWorld has 10s of thousands of members, the birthdays would make it very hard to see the events.

Hey Ken - no, we haven't met yet. JeffCullen put me onto the local club. I see he's just gotten on here as well. I've been out of town so wasn't able to make the July run to Harrison. I did see the pix. I'll check the calendar for upcoming events. Good to meet you!

Speaking of silicone...I'm expecting my silicone vacuum hoses today...some of mine are weak or broken so it'll be good to throw them in. Might be difficult to put on wearing oven mitts, though!
