Aux input install

I looking to install an Aux input in my wifes '04 9-3 Arc so she can use her phone to play pandora through the car speakers.

I don't want to spend $300 - $500 on a parrot or use a crappy bluetooth/FM modulator.

So, has anyone installed the Aux input like they sell at Genuinesaab.com? The install looks simple enough but it says it "may" need some Tech II intervention. Anyone have any experience? I'd like to do the install myself but not if some kind of programming will be needed.

22 Connect the diagnostic tool, select car and model
year, select “All”, select “Add/Remove”, select the
accessory and then “Add”.
Note
The diagnostic tool will on some occasions need
to retrieve a security code in TIS. Information on
what to do will be displayed on the diagnostic tool
display.

My 03 model also does not comes with the AUX input.

I tried to switch the audio mode from the steering controller.
I do noticed AUX featured in there, is that mean firmware updated ?
Can just easily plug in the cable?

What I'm sharing with the TS is to check if the steering wheel 'SRC' do have the AUX feature.

Anyway...to the benefit of TS, I append the URL on the DIY AUX input
