Has anyone done wheel bearing change on 9-5 as a DYI?
I am about to do this for 2005 9-5. Hoping DYI won't be painful since bearings are now an integrated assembly including hub. If there are no tutorials present already then I will do my best to take pictures as I work and post them here. If anyone has done this already, I would greatly appreciate pointers

Never done it, but from what I hear, a penetrating spray is your friend. I had to pull the hubs on my 96, and I didn't have the money for a puller, so I spent two days getting it off with a come-along and a mallet.
Here is a write up from that "other" site But we'd be glad to have one of our own on SW!

that site is evil!
I haven't done it myself but I can post the instructions from the WIS if that helps.

I do have a puller thankfully and also ample supply of cold ones. looks easy enough ( famous last words?? ). hopefully my two hub assemblies will get delivered in next two days or so. weekend seems like it will be warm enough. I will give this a shot. looks like I will be taking lots of pictures

So turns out that even though symptoms pointed to busted wheel bearings, actual problem was weakened anti-roll bar linkages in front. those have been replaced but not before they caused uneven wear on my tires. so job was much cheaper but now I need new set of winter tires for next season. I also seem to have weakened shocks in back. so will be replacing those shortly.
