Anyone planning on going to Saabs at Carlisle?
With the other Saab forum debacle.... Anyone want to make a SaabWorld show of force at Carlisle?

I'd like to go, but I think I'm saving up my summer road trip for SOC. While I hear SOC isn't as fun, I've kinda aiming for that because it's pretty close, or as close as it will be for a while, and Carlisle is at... well, Carlisle. So next year maybe.

I'll probably be there. 'Don't know whether to take the Saab or my fiancee's Super Beetle though... maybe both

Gawd, I wish it were Carlisle MA, not Carlisle PA. I'd be down there in a second!
When is it exactly?Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

May 20-22. It is the eastern side of PA. You should come, Sam; we could share a room.

Hmmm... this much cheaper alternative sounds much better than SOC... we'll have to see when the money is actually getting dragged out of my hands.

I like going to the SOC but it's just a bit too organized, expensive and a tad boring. I have heard many good things about this Carlisle event and it is only 711 miles from my place..
And I do like camping!

Yeah, I don't want to hear press conferences the whole time, and I certainly don't want to hand out all my sheckels just to get in. I want to meet people, maybe get some stuff from the parts tent, and have fun... plus, the less I spend on the entrance, the more I can spend on parts!

Indeed, SOC was 15 mins from my place, last year. The prices deterred me and I didn't go.
That works, too, Sam.
