I'm still here at school... I have no idea who they use for an ISP. It seems to be working fine now though.

It has been fine for me today so it seems it just needed a bit of time. This is the technical explanation from the hosting company.
As you know DNS is based on multiple servers its possible that your first request is done to the first nameserver, then cached by your local machine or even router for the TTL period, when this is over your pc or router will request the IP again from the DNS server of your provider, if it then gets it from another dns node which has not been updated you will be stuck with the old IP for a while, and so on, this should however not happen, and if you have problems with your DNS regularly i would suggest to use a service like OpenDNS | DNS-Based Web Security which is free and has a topnotch dns infrastructure.
