Thanks, it should be a fairly easy move. The site will be moved from Kansas City in the US to a large data center in Europe. I figured a site like this should be hosted in Europe where many of the visitors and Saab are located. More details about this to follow soon after the move.

interesting view - our US boys are insisting, that everything has to be hosted in the US

I am agreed, the speed to navigate is very good from US host.

The move to the new host was successful as far as I can tell. Please report any issues that seem out of the ordinary. I checked most of the site but may have missed something. Some of the attachments/images added in the last week still have to be moved over from the old to the new host and that may take a few hours.

It looks like the move happened at about 6:00am my local time and it was up and running again at around 10:00am. We hopefully have a little bit faster and more reliable site with our new host.

I'm still having to use a proxy. The site worked for me for about 10 minutes late last night (12:00am) and then when I went to post I got the 404 error.

Who's your ISP? Mine is Charter and things were back to normal this morning. You could try to clear the cache on your computer:
    http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/vie...ngBrowserCache

The site is hosted on this server/IP http://188.138.84.176 But it is shared hosting so using the IP instead of the domain name won't do any good.

Access for me is fine most of the day but still getting the 404 error a few times when it goes back to the old host. It seems DNS is still a bit wonky. Weird..
