Any tricks to polishing and buffing the car? I am about to bring my car to be exterior detailed and buffed. Trying to restore the car but considering professional help instead of diy.

UPDATE: Wulf has just posted a related post about buffing.... http://saabworld.net/f243/car-detail...html#post60976

With my prior experience buffing, I had my Saab detailed. I pointed out some minor scratches, which they buffed out nicely. Pictures don't seem to show the nice job done.
