    Hey guys, just wanted to say that I tested the Bosch cabin filter and found it difficult to install (took me over 20 min to slide it in place). Last year I bought a MEYLE cabin air filter, part no. 8123200006 - installed it in less then 10 seconds! Highly recommend! It's basically the same but more flexible. Both filters use active carbon.

    I got a filter from Europarts. Awkward to reach the top-right screw on the filter panel. Took me about an hour, but well worth it.

    I must say this car has the most retarded system for changing an air filter I've ever had to deal with. Took me well over an hour to remove all the components, countless screws, and then mess with the filter until I have the extra piece over the pipes and the actual filter slides in. All other cars I've had took 5 minutes tops to get this done. Saab's engineers must have been high when they designed this monstrosity.

    It is pita when you're doing it first time. Now I do this under 20 minutes. It's a good idea to slide a piece of cardboard between the sponge and the filter during installation, check out this video:
