Time to move to Texas, speed limit increased to 85mph.

This may not seem like a big deal for people from other Countries (just so you don't say that SW is too Americanized), but Texas House has approved the highest speed limit in the nation, 85mph.

Cool but it would be better if you didn't have to actually go .. to Texas and stuff.

That's probably there's almost nothing around in Texas. lol I wouldn't mind having that speed limit here, but I know it will never happen.

I thought that you already lived in "The South"....from a previous post you made, too lazy to search for it.

Texas has like 3 of the US's top 10 largest cities. I've never been, but I hear it's actually a really nice place... I wouldn't mind living there if somehow you could bring some ski resorts to the area.

I've been to Texas before a few times and it's not the kind of state I'd like to reside in. That's just my opinion though.

Agreed, I've spent sometime in Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth and wasn't impressed with either of the two. I'm not a fan of their weather nor the mentality of some of the people there. I hear good things about San Antonio and Austin however.

I'm not sure I like the idea of an 85mph speed limit either. I have mental images of popular Texas cars that weigh 5000+ lbs going 85-90mph and I don't like it. If the speed limit was 85mph with the car's weight being less than 3750 lbs then I would be happy.

No, Wulf accused me and J-rod of living in the "warm south".

J-rod lives about 100 miles from me in S IN. We are definitely not in the south.
