Use an 18pt ring spanner - much smaller back-up steps. I think OEM spec for the warning light is 7psi (0.5BAR), so it's slightly high, but that's no bad thing.

PRV looks AOK when I cranked the motor with it removed only a small drip of oil came out.
I think it may be possible I did not install the o ring on the pickup so the motor is 50% ready to be pulled out of the car, perhaps out, check the O-ring and back in tomorrow.

Engine back in, oil pressure normal. I did have an o ring on the pickup tube but it was the wrong o ring.
It did come out of a bag labeled for that purpose, but it did fit pretty lose. clanged around a bit.
Motor runs very nice. Let it warm up to normal nothing leaks.
Still have the not shutting of thing. I tested the start signal to the Trionic unit and if I pull it the motor shuts off. If I measure the voltage coming from the chassis it switches on and off 12 volts with the key. But, when I hook the wire to Trionic it will not shut off. Any Ideas?

your switched live to trionic must only switch with ignition on, not accessories on, use the coil wire.
not sure what else it could be,AFAIK that switched live controls the ECU. I'd just try removing the switched live from where ever you have it terminated to see if it stalls the car. It should AFAIK .

I am using the wire to the coil. What is odd is if I hook a meter to it it switches off and on with the key and not accessories just run mode. If I disconnect it from pin 60 the motor stops running. If I hook it up and turn the key off and remove it the motor keeps running. Thinking a diode may solve this?
Still really glad to have oil pressure.

Took a short ride today. Runs rough needs tuning. I am running the T5.2 non TCS stock BIN from a 9000. Idles really well but stumbles under load, seems rich.
Still chasing the no shut off thing. Tried a Diode, before pin 60 but no dice, still keeps running. Have not tried a pull down resistor yet.

Took the car on a 40 mike adaption run and it runs much better now. Still needs tuning but I am really happy with it so far.
The car has been in my garage for almost 3 years and really needs a good cleaning.
Need to sort the no shut off issue and get the door wiring all cleaned up (85 syndrome) then get in inspected and continue to get the car ready for Carlisle.

What a pretty turbo. SAAB used really good paint for black cars in those years. A clay bar and some non-chalking wax should make it beautiful. Great job on saving a deserving car.

I am not familiar with Non-Chalking wax.

I'm referring to one-step waxes, especially polymer, that contain a white chalky abrasive. Very hard to remove from plastic trim, the spoiler, the edges of the tape on the thin belt-line moulding etc. Very noticeable in sunlight on a black SAAB. Learned this the hard way.
