Am I covered? Keys locked in car.
Today was not a great day..
The one day I actually lock my car, I dropped my key in the hatch with the rest of my crap on accident with all the other doors locked. I called a locksmith and they charged me a mind blowing 275 bucks just to unlock the car. Don't ask me why I did it and didn't tell them to go do gnarly things to themselves... I have NO idea. Maybe I wasn't thinking because I was running short on time.
Wallet rape aside, I was told that my insurance will cover it. Is this true? I have full coverage on Allstate, if I provide them with the invoice will they reimburse me?
plz plz plz plz...

I just checked my car insurance. Mine does not cover it. However, some people have coverage for towing. There's a possibility that it covers towing, which might be defined as delivery of gas, unlock car, jump start battery, and towing.
I didn't get towing because it is covered under my Saab warranty, which was 4 years and has since expired.

Some insurance companies offer optional roadside assistance plans and others may include it. I think Allstate may include it with all their car insurance.
But even if it is covered, most have limits for services provided. $275 seems a bit excessive.
https://goodhandsroadside.allstate.c.../ghrTerms.html
COVERAGE AND BENEFIT LIMITS: $75 for a tow up to 10 miles; Additional $3 per mile after first 10 miles; $50 for other service related events (i.e. jump start, tire change, lockout service & fuel delivery (up to 3 gallons) in all 50 states for most passenger cars and light duty trucks (see below)

Boned.
I don't have towing coverage and it only covers up to $50.
Lesson learned.
