I know that the answer is no regarding residential land in Norway. How about in Sweden? Are there restrictions on commercial or residential land ownership?

There was a house in Norway that was left to my mother in law. Since she became a US citizen she was not allowed to inherit the property, a beautiful "stav house" that she was born in.

Norway, since WWII has been very restrictive in order to maintain home control.

What about Sweden? With the Trolhattan plant and assets up as seeming collateral how do they stand?
