Does anyone know for sure if the wire harness for the 2008 9-3 SportCombi is the same as the 9-3 Sedan? I have purchased the Kenwood 9960 and this is all that stands in my way of installation.
I would appreciate any help as no one has an answer as of yet.

I moved this from the dash speaker thread to a new thread.
The head units in the sedan and SportCombi are the same so the wire harness should be the same as well. Do you have any specific concerns?

Thanks for moving this. I have never actually participated in a forum but i am learning quickly this is the only way to gain info on Saabs.
My concern is that the speakers in the lift gate of the Combi may not be the same as the Sedan and maybe have a different signal being sent? So if i install the head unit they may not play nice. What are your thoughts?

The head unit sends the audio signals to the amplifiers. I don't have any hands-on experience with the 9-3 audio system but it seems you would use the line-out signal on an aftermarket head unit and use that to send to the Saab amplifiers like I did on my 9-5. I am sure others have more experience with and knowledge about this.
And welcome to SaabWorld, glad you found us.

Thanks for the info. I hope there will be more responses. SC's seem rare. I know i waited a long time to find one that was a 6 speed.
