Hi everyone,
I found something and it could be useful for those who owns Saab 1998-2005. I know.. it is a very old subject but please check first the attached link...

So...
I fixed my SID. I would not say that it was easy. Maybe it is only me....
The new ribbon cable comes without any glue on both sides. You will have to use adhesive tape to reinforce onto both LCD and printed circuit panel as well.
Anyway... it works.
IF YOU ORDER.... is it SID1 or SID2?
Check also inside YOUR ribbon cable visually. I had SID1 on box but inside it was SID2.
