    Suggestions and changes

The new forum is in the planning and development stage and I am very curious to hear what the members want to see in a new forum. Your opinion counts!

Maybe break each car section into "Repair Help" and Tuning"?

Good point. I was also thinking of making an extra section for DIY's and repair tutorials so all that stuff is easier to find.

As in every car section has its own DIY tutorial section? I think that would be great.

Is there also a way so you can list what your Saabs are under your avatar? Was interesting as well.

Yes, very important. I think that needs some custom programming and I am looking into that. The vBulletin software has so many customization optionss and it is a bit overwhelming in the beginning.

Yeah, about that.. sorry, no animated images in avatars and no images in signatures at all for now. Perhaps we can do a poll later and let the members decide.

LOL Somehow this feels a lot like when the English fled to the new world to escape heartless monarchy & to establish a democracy

Whatever the reason .. it suits me fine and frankly I find animated avatars and images in signatures confusing .. When the screen is bouncing around it distracts my ageing mind .. or what is left of it.

    Cheers ...

    Good morning gentlemen.

Nice looking site so far, very clean.
Until Ken arrives and gets crumbs all over everything.

At this time, I don't have any suggestions to offer, other than the ones having been made so far.
I would suggest though that a stable of mods/admins be established and some T's&C's and guidelines be worked on and put forth so that everyone here posts under the same understanding.
I recall another forum that was started some years back as certain people didn't like some of the rules of another site ... strangely, that site has become just a social visiting spot vs. an all-round forum. I could be wrong, but I sense the need/want for both a technical mecha as well as the social aspect all rolled into one nice package.
