2001 Saab 9.5 - OEM Valeo or aftermarket cabin air filter ?
Hi Everyone,
Who knows what is the difference beetwen the (OEM) VALEO cabin air filter and the aftermarket cabin air filter ? I've seen online (unfortunately do not remember the site name), the Valeo filter made from antistatic material.
Is this true or like the MANN or other aftermarket filters are similar ? Is the regular filter flammable ? That 's why VALEO makes it antistatic ?
If the are the same which one is the second best quality - MANN or NORDIC ?
Thanks,
Laszlo

I replaced mine with the Nordic filter last year. There was an original Saab filter in the car and I couldn't see much of a difference. Perhaps the filter material was just a bit thinner but I don't think it will make much of a difference. Nordic filter is $21.90 and the OEM Saab filter is $56.58. That's almost 3 times as much. I don't mind paying a bit more for OEM parts but not that much.
